PRIOR TO April of 2010, we had but TWO categories of membership:
1. FULL MEMBERSHIP - open to those who are able to attend meetings and other events organised by, or
attended by the Club as a body.
2. ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP applies to those living in the UK or abroad, who by reason of distance, age,
infirmity, etc. are unable to attend the majority of meetings or events. ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP entitles one
to receive by post a printed copy of our bi-annual magazine, The Pipe Club of London JOURNAL.
WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE that from April 2010, we have added a THIRD category - the Electronic
Membership (E-MEMBERSHIP). E-Membership differs from Associate Membership in two respects:
1. The hard copy of the JOURNAL will not be sent by post, but will be available, in full colour, as a .PDF
download on the Club website. The Password required to open the file will be supplied by the Club's Sectretary
& Treasurer for the current year of your membership. (The Club's savings in postage is reflected in the lower
membership fee.)
2. Payment of the Annual Membership Fee must be made via PayPal in GBP (Pounds Sterling) only. The
membership period is from 1st April to 31st March of each year. NOTE: If you should join after 1st April,
you will still receive both issues of the JOURNAL for the year.

1. E-MAIL Patrick L. Brain, the Sectretay & Treasurer of the Club to inform him of your intention. (His
contacts are at the bottom of this page.) BE SURE TO INCLUDE the following information (to be kept
confidential): Your full name, full address, date of birth, and e-mail address.
2. Use your PayPal account to remit the sum of GPB 10.50 to Patrick L. Brain, the Club's Secty-Treas.
(Use the "Buy Now" button and log into your account to make payment.) Upon notification
of your payment and his receipt of your information (above), Patrick will activate your
membership, assign you a membership number (with the designation "E"), and e-mail
the annual password for the 2010 issues of the PCoL JOURNAL. (Should you prefer to
log onto your PayPal account directly, the PayPal address is: plbpcol@virginmedia.com.)
3. Thereafter (if you desire) you will be listed on the PCoL website's New Member page, and, if you wish for
your photo to appear, submit your photo to the Webmaster, Johnny Long at: johnwadelong@gmail.com
